What does East Yardley Neighbourhood Forum Do?
Better local democracy and active citizens are vital if we are to improve the quality of life in our neighbourhoods. East Yardley Neighbourhood Forum normally holds committee meting every months.
We have a website and produce newsletters to keep people informed about what’s going on and advertise local events.
Easy Yardley Neighbourhood Forum is involved in a wide range of activities:
- The Forum sends representatives to ward and district partnership meetings, police consultative committee and council meetings, etc. East Yardley Neighbourhood Forum is a vital part of community networks.
- The Forum is consulted on planning matters, and other local issues.
- The Forum campaigns on issues, decided by local people e.g Post office closures, sighting of mobile phone masts, etc.
Residents of the forum area may attend these meetings if you wish to raise any issues or concerns, please contact the Chair or Secretary first to have it included on the agenda for the next meeting.
The forum also holds public meetings every three or four months, these meetings are open to all residents the meetings often have a guest speakers.
